How can you change your privacy details quickly?

Hello! I'm trying to sign into my account at my friend's house because I traveled to his house to meet him. But when I went to sign in on his xbox, it said I needed a security code. I no longer have accessto that phone number. It is now out of service and I have no way to get it back. If possible, I would like to change where the code would be sent to. I tried this a bit eariler last night, but it said that it would need to take 30 days, is there any way to circumvent that?

I understand that the wait time is really long but it is how security works with all accounts. I had to finish the 30 day process before I had access to my account before when I had to change the phone number attached to it.

I understand you have a question about the security code getting changed.

Just a heads up, there is no work around when it comes to Microsoft security. If in any case that you do not have access to your security proofs anymore, it will ask you to change or add another security proofs and to prevent the account from being hacked or any security breach, this will be locked out for 30 days before you will have access to the verification again.

We really have to wait for the 30 day wait time to complete the process.

this article. If you are going to make the changes through the console itself, simply go to Settings>Account>Privacy and Online safety>Xbox Live Privacy>View details and customize> this is where you will remove restrictions on your account. Hope this helps!
