How Can We Get Support When Microsoft Lock All The Threads?

In most cases threads will only get locked when they are duplicates, very old and get bumped, not a support issue, or starting to dive into legal debates. For example, this thread will more than likely get locked since there is not a support issue being
addressed.

Can we get this thread locked please, It's just another thread with people complaining about how they get a free online pass when they buy new.

Hey there, TubeLugs! Hopefully I can clear up what happens when threads are locked here on the support side of things.

There are several reasons why a thread would be locked. In the support forums, we lock them if they are not support questions, if they are older posts, or if we are trying to direct other users to a specific thread so that they post in there. Even if they
don't have an answer, the older posts especially have likely been resolved. Most times, before a Support agent locks a thread, we make a post explaining why it is locked. The general discussion forums can have locked threads for different reasons, though.

If you need assistance with a support issue, please do not hesitate to post up a new thread detailing what you're running into and troubleshooting you've completed. This way our community can get you the individual support that works best on the forums.

How about fixing the problem Microsoft? Are we really supposed to believe that the biggest software company in the world is apparently having difficulties in fixing this issue? All we seem to get is vague, once a month responses about how you're "investigating"
and "working to fix the problem", but it's been more than FOUR MONTHS now! That really does not instill much confidence in Microsoft at all!
