How can there be problems getting internet when computer is hard wired?

I play Microsoft Mahjong, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and Microsoft Ultimate Words Games on my laptop using Windows 10. In each of those games, at no particular time, I get "Unable to Connect with the Internet" messages. This is IMPOSSIBLE since my laptop
is hard wired to the Internet.

My question is - How can that happen?

Lastly, I saved a screen shot of the message I get but, of course, there's no way to attach it.

File recovery from HD formatted by Xbox One

I need some help from my fellow gamers. I'm wondering if any of you know how to recover files from a formatted hard drive. More specifically a Toshiba 3TB external hard drive that was formatted by an Xbox One. The problem I am having is that my computer wont recognize it anymore when I plug the hard drive into it. Can anyone help me figure out how to get my data back from it (if it still exists)?

Repeatedly disconnected from Xbox Live.

Hi, since a while (about two months) I've been disconnected randomly. My internet connection is working fine when I'm checking with my computer.

The Xbox is however connected through cable to the router and my computer through wifi but even with cable between the computer and the router it has no problems.

I encounter the issue most frequently while streaming video through Netflix and often I can reconnect directly by simply close the application and restart it again but it's getting annoying as it can take everything between 5 minutes to several hours between
disconnections.

When accessing Netflix through the computer there is no such issues.

I live in sweden and has mobile 4g-broadband.

The Xbox has the latest software-update.

This exact same thing has happened to me just a couple of days ago and if I didn't have an internet connection I wouldn't be able to leave this message! What is going on and how on earth can this be fixed???

Check your Windows Credentials. (Control Panel -> Credential Manager, or search for "Credential Manager" in Settings). I found a post somewhere that said to delete all your Microsoft Live credentials; I didn't have any of those, but I did have a "Microsoft
Paid Connectivity Wifi Access Token" that didn't seem right ("Paid Connectivity?" -- I've never paid for anything). I deleted it. I now have no Windows Credentials, and the games load now, and they load quicker than ever before.

If you're paranoid (as you should be), you should back up your credentials before you get rid of them. Links to back-up and restore are on the Credential Manager page, at the top of the list.

We apologize for the ongoing issue but rest assured we are here to help, however, we need a bit more information. How are the computers connected to the internet? Wifi or hard wired? How many devices are connected to the internet? Let us know so we can get

Are any other computers/devices connected to the network and/or using the internet when you try to download this game? How do you connect to the network: wired or wireless? Can you try wired?

Okay, just to clarify on how your network is set up - are you using a wired connection between your internet source and your computer, then wireless to the Xbox? Or the other way around (wireless between computer and internet source, then wired between computer
and Xbox)?
