How can I verify that Xbox One Minecraft saves are backed up?

My daughter plays on our Xbox One from 2014. She has many large worlds and tons of stuff she has built. I need 100% confirmation that this data is being stored in the cloud somewhere and can be retrieved if the local drive fails. I cannot find anything anywhere that states unequivocally that this is true if we do NOT have an Xbox Live/Gold/Game Pass subscription. We would otherwise not use these features and so I don't want to pay unless it is required for saves to be backed up. Thank you!

If you want to verify that your daughter's Xbox One Minecraft saves are being backed up to the cloud, you can follow these steps:

Make sure that your Xbox One is connected to the internet and that your daughter's account is signed in.

Start Minecraft and load up one of her saved worlds.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the Guide menu.

Navigate to the Settings gear icon, and then to the System tab.

Choose the Storage option and then select the saved world you want to check.

If the saved world has been backed up to the cloud, you should see a "Synced" status message. If it has not been synced, you should see a message that says "Not synced" or "Sync pending."

If you see a "Sync pending" message, wait for a few minutes and then check again. The sync process may take some time depending on the size of the saved world.

If you have an Xbox Live/Gold/Game Pass subscription, your daughter's Minecraft saves will be automatically backed up to the cloud. However, even without a subscription, your saves should still be backed up to the cloud. Microsoft provides some limited cloud storage for game saves for all Xbox One users, even those without a subscription.

Minecraft saves are backed up on both the Cloud and on the console. Unfortunately if you the saved world has already been deleted from the old Xbox, there's no way of getting the worlds back. I suffered it when transferring my Xbox One Edition worlds to
Bedrock edition, unfortunately nothing can be done.

how does one back up saved games? mine does that sometimes.... cant find hard drive.... but while it can still sometimes find it.... how do i save it?

As long as you are using the Bedrock version of the title [Minecraft PE, Minecraft Xbox One, Minecraft Switch, Minecraft Windows 10] and you are logged into your Microsoft Account on whatever platform you are using, your save data and your purchases in-game
are all carried along with you.
