I bought a Nvidia Geforce GPU *FOR MY PC*, among other reasons also because it includes a Promotional Copy of GEARS OF WAR 4 game from Microsoft.

I followed the Product activation GUIDE from NVIDIA to add the license to my xbox.com (formerly: Windwos Live) Account.

But now the Windows Live Webserver tells me i got a XBOX ONLY COPY of this game, and i CANNOT ACCESS IT in Windows 10.

I did NOT buy the GPU because i play games on an inferior console, i bought it because I play on PC!

How can i get the Windows 10 License of this game - or get a REFUND due to false claims?

Console on par with low pc settings

there are hundreds of console gameplay vids on the net.. silly man.

And yes, af course nvidia say's console suck, cus they wanna sell GPU cards.

I suggest we all stop worrieng, and see how the game will end up, dont believe pc elitest. Just see for your self. You will be positive supprised.. trust me..

Higher framerates in racing games would be a big thing for me. (Forza excepted)

going from DiRT/PGR/Shift over to Forza you notice it instantly, the game feels more responsive etc.

(or comparing DiRT2/3 on xbox @30fps to my PC versions @60fps)

and I must admit, I like shiny things, so the better the graphics the better for me. I know physx is pretty much dead now, and the chances of nvidia going back to MS is probably as likely as Stoke winning the premiership but I really hope the next consoles have some form of dedicated physics processing unit - or at least a dual core gpu so one can be a ppu if needed.
Looking at games which support physx properly (Batman arkham asylum on PC the obvious one) it is a real shame nvidia stopped anyone else using it when it still had a chance of succeeding.

Don't fret, all Xbox Play Anywhere games such as Gears of War 4 play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. First, make sure your Windows 10 PC has been fully updated with the Anniversary Update. You can find Windows updates by searching 'Check for updates'
within the Start menu.

Once you've done that, open the Windows Store and navigate to the Gears of War 4 product page to install the game. You must be signed into the same Microsoft Account that owns the Gears of War 4 license to be able to download and install the game on Windows
10.

Hi.

This is my first post.

I'm having issues with playing xbox windows anywhere games on my pc. This is only xbox app games.

I have halo wars 2 and gears of war 5 and everytime I play the games they open in the integrated amd graphics and not the amd radeon discrete switchable graphics card. I purchased these codes which use the xbox app on my Windows 10 laptop.

Steam I have no issues with and all my games like doom and forza use gpu.

Any ideas how I can force my laptop to use the gpu for xbox app games.

You should be able to turn the integrated gfx off and set the gpu as default in the display setting if i remember right

Same here, and it's strange. Are you on preview Builds on Windows 10? What is your GPU? I'm using a Nvidia GTX 680...

Hi,

It's possible that since you updated your graphics driver, Battlefront 2 may have reverted to the integrated GPU. Firstly, make sure it's using your dedicated graphics processor.

You can also force this via the NVIDIA control panel.

It's not always necessary to download the latest GPU driver when a new game is released. These drivers optimise the game sure, but generally speaking, unless your drivers are extremely outdated, it's not mandatory.

Haha honestly, the only games I use my PC for are Total War games! That being said, I wish the GPU inside the Xbox was equivalent to the Nvidia GTX 500 series, I wouldn't mind shelling out for that
