How can I update my Xbox Live Profile Description for Xbox One S?

Hope this helps as well, If you have the Xbox Console Companion app on your PC or Laptop and its connected to your Console you can access your profile from there and change everything you need as well including your gamerpic to one you have from your
PC or Laptop. Just as always be careful to what you have on there.

On your console, hit the Guide button and navigate to the left until you reach your profile and click "My Profile" after clicking on your gamerpic. From there, on the right hand side is "Customize Profile" click that, and then you can alter your Location
and Bio on the left and other related things on the right.

Be aware of what you put in your bio etc as it all falls under the Code of Conduct. Keep it about interests and don't put too many bits of personal information in it that could be ised for malicious purposes.

Update your profile on Xbox One

Here are some common things you can do in your profile:

• Change your gamerpic and gamertag
• Create or redesign your avatar
• Change your profile color
• Add or change your location and bio
• Change your privacy settings
• Appear offline

To see your profile:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select your gamerpic, press the A button , and then select My profile.

From there you can choose what you want to change.

Note If a gamertag was created for you at initial setup (that is, you didn’t choose it), you can change it one time at no cost. After that, each change costs extra.
