How can I turn off viewing other peoples profiles, except friends, within Xbox?

My son doesn’t want to see profiles other than the people on his friends list. He said there are too many profiles that are inappropriate and he doesn’t want to see them. How can I make it so he can only view his friends profiles? I know how to toggle so others can/can’t see him but I’ve not found how to stop him from viewing others he’s not friends with.

    :)

Now he’s telling me it’s the “feeds” he doesn’t want to see. Is there an option to turn that off? He doesn’t want to turn his off, just the ability to see other peoples feeds.

Thank you for that information. It will not allow us to change it that way because he is part of our family group. He is a minor. How can I change these settings for him?

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello sewJaqs, he can change certain Xbox profile settings by going to the privacy settings, ask him to log in with his account on the Xbox website, then click back on the photo in the upper left corner, a small menu will appear.

    https://www.xbox.com/

    Then click "Xbox Profile"

On the next page click on "Privacy Settings"

And in the Privacy tab you will have access to the options of information that are shared, after selecting the options you want, go down the page and click "Submit"

Do you mean the Community feed on the Home Dashboard of the console when he signs in?

If so it can be removed from the Dashboard and he can also add his friends to the his Dashboard so that he can scroll down to view their Activity feeds.

Use the "view" button on the controller to customise the Home.
