I wanted to take my private email off my xbox account which is shared with family.

So I opened another .live account, but somehow have already another gamer tag.

how can I switch my original gamer tag to the new account?

ok well first of all who are you? do u work for Microsoft? look its not my fault my name was inappropriate. its Microsoft fault for accepting it instead of declining it way before I paid. and another thing. I thing its ignorant that Microsoft doesn't send
people a message telling them their going to change their gamer tag. I did not spend money so I can get my gamer tag switched to something so irrelevant. at least switch it to something that will fit my profile. I want a switch in my gamer tag or a refund
or I will contact the higher people in Microsoft that will actually help me

i am sorry but you can't set another Microsoft-Account as alias to change the email adress.

i have tried this but error, so:

How can I change the connected Microsoft account with another Microsoft account without loosing all Games and achievements on XBox Live account ?

I have this exact same issue - I need to move my gamertag from one MS account to another.

Apparently this isn't possible, which seems ridiculous. There must be a way?!?

What was the error, did you check how to manage aliases?

This Error: "This email is part of a reserved domain. Please enter a different email address."

I am not sure, if Microsoft Support understand our problem, so next try:

There is Microsoft Account "A": This Microsoft Account "A" is connected with an old XBOX Live Account with Games, Scores and so on.

And there is a Microsoft Account "B": This is a new Account, with Windows 10 Licence, Apps, Office 365 and some stuff on OneDrive.

Now the Question:

Is it possible to connect Microsoft Account "A" with Microsoft Account "B" so there is only one (1) Account left?

If not, is it possible to connect this XBOX Live Account from Microsoft Account "A" to Microsoft Account "B"? And after that I can delete Account "A" without any loses?

Aliases is useless, because you can't do this with an email adress which is connected with another Microsoft Account.

So please help.
