How can I switch my adult account to a childs account and make a new adult account

I let my kids play under my gamertag because I did not know about the family settings. When i figured out about the family settings I made an account for for all 3 kids.. The older one has purchased stuff and does not want to lose it all. Can I make my account a childs account and create another adult account so that I can manage everything.

Unfortunately, nothing can be transferred between accounts, family or not. You can share the games themselves with them, but they would have to start over if you go do that.

So they will loose there progress and purchases on fortnite is there a way to transfer this stuff since were all in a family group? it seems that it would not be that hard for them to make this possible? Why would they make it so you cant make an adult account to a child account essentially thats what I need. I have spent a lot of money on this game and they have spent a lot of time leveling up with they way technology is today there should be some way to do it

You can change a child account to an adult account, but you can't change an adult account to a child account. In order to manage them, you would have to create new child accounts for them.

I can't remember 100% but I am sure whoever set up the child account can change it. Like if you made an adult account on the xbox before making the child account that adult account can change wether the child account is a child account or and adult one.
I will just test this out myself now and post how it went
