How can i stop my Xbox Series X Crashing On Games?

I've just got a new Xbox Series X but I'm facing the seeming very common problem of it randomly crashing during games (AC Valhalla & Forza 5 are the two that I've tried so far). The screen freezes, sound continues and the the xbox shuts down.

I've tried reinstalling the xbox from scratch, moved the xbox to ensure its as got as muh airflow as possible and changing settings but it seems to keep happening.

What else can I try as I'm really regretting buying it at this point.

I play on the Xbox Series X and my game crashes every time i start the expansion. Its not only a PC thing

I see. If it's only happening to certain games only, I would highly recommend reporting it using the Report a problem app, that way it should be investigated properly. Please do the steps below using your console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Store.

Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.

Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.

Follow the instructions in the section “Report a new problem” to submit your problem report.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Check if there is a pending system update that needs to be installed.

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update,

Solution 3: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.
