    How can I restore Xox 360 to factory setting?


    I want to restore my Xbox 360 to factory setting so I can give it to someone else. How do I do that? The only instructions online deal with the Xbox One which I do not own.

    How can I restore a 360 console to factory settings WITHOUT HAVING A PASSWORD (kid played with it and SOMEHOW reseted the controler paswword!!!)

    Xbox one will not select the time zone at start up!!!

    The only way I know how to reset factory settings is to go to "settings" and then "system". There you can restore the factory settings, but I'm not sure you can make it that far.

    Hey there GrandDaddyMike!

    Can you specify the version of the black Xbox 360 you own (e.g. Xbox 360 S/E/Elite).

    If you haven't already and as the first step, restore your consoles network settings back to factory defaults.

    Go to Network settings and select Configure network. Select the additional settings tab and restore network settings back to factory default.

    Power cycle your console and reconfigure wireless settings on your console.

    Post back and let us know how it goes and we'll go from there.
