  1. How can I restore the firmware to the previous one? Gamepads: Xbox One, Elite Series 2

    Hello!

I have win10 (I updated Win10, installed all the latest updates) and NO xbox console, I don't have steam and I use GOG.

My gamepads: Xbox One, Xbox Elite Series 2, Xbox Series X. The warranty period for my gamepads has expired and I do not have the physical ability to send it in for a replacement.

I use Bluetooth to wirelessly connect devices to my PC.

I used the Xbox Accessories app and updated the firmware of my controllers (5.13.3143.0). Since then, the Elite Series 2 and Onet gamepads have stopped working correctly in half of my games (Sekiro, Batman Arkham, Mortal Kombat 11, and so on). How to restore the previous firmware? The previous firmware worked absolutely in all games! In addition to the Series X gamepad, its layout always worked correctly only in half of the games, in the other half of the games, the pressed buttons made incorrect commands.

Previously, all my gamepads were displayed in win10 in the "devices" section individually. For example, the Elite Series 2 was labeled "Wireless Elite Series 2" and the Series X gamepad was labeled "Wireless Series X".

Now after updating the firmware, ALL my gamepads are displayed in the system as "Wireless Series X"! It is not right! This suggests that Microsoft, through the Xbox Accessories application, sent out to all users on all any gamepads the firmware designed for Xbox Series X gamepads.

You need to understand that the old Xbox One and Elite Series 2 gamepads always worked correctly in absolutely all games and were immediately correctly detected by games. And the new gamepads, Series X, work correctly for all people only in half of the games. In other games, the pressed buttons have a mixed up layout. This is a feature of Series X gamepads and their firmware. And now I have the Series X firmware installed in my Xbox One and Elite Series 2 gamepads with all the corresponding shortcomings of this model (in the "devices" section, all my gamepads look like "wireless Series X"). And now all my gamepads work, respectively (that is, only in half of my games).

In the support chat, the guy told me that I need to wait a week and then the option to return to the previous firmware will appear in the Xbox Accessories application. A week has passed and the option has not appeared. There is no button to return to the previous firmware at all. Microsoft ruined my working gamepad. I wrote about this situation in the GitHub application. Microsoft doesn't want to do anything, they only damage someone else's purchased tangible property for $150. They don't try to fix the situation and modify the Xbox Accessories app to fix the firmware for many users. They probably think that suing and paying compensation is easier than updating the application in the Microsoft Store and giving users the opportunity to roll back the firmware of their gamepads.

Regardless of the fact that I go to court and lawsuit Microsoft, it is now impossible for me to play Sekiro, Mortal Kombat 11 and Batman Arkham with my gamepads. How can I restore the firmware to the previous one? Help!

    :)
