I've been having the same issue and trying to fix it for years. The reality is that Microsoft is just not a very good company and unfortunately the only way to fix this is to make a whole new account on the console or PC, or buy a whole new console or PC, which really sucks.

My daughter plays Minecraft under her brother's email address.

My son plays Minecraft under my email address.

Both children want to use their own email address without losing their profiles.

I don't understand how adding an alias will work. I don't want to delete my Microsoft account. I want to change the email associated with Minecraft only.
