    How can i repair this? Xbox360 (Error: E79)


    Hi! i have some problem that i tried to fix but i cant. My Xbox360 is freezing on the start animation and then, it shutdown inmediatly. i have read that it could be a hardware problem so i opened it but i didnt saw anything strange (i know how systems work). Then i tried using the recovery menu by pressing the sync button while turning on but the xbox ignores it completely. Also i tried updating the system via USB and the same problem. can someone help me pls?

    As you've said, E error codes are a hardware issue that can only be resolved by a MS repair. Unfortunately Xbox no longer does repairs for Xbox 360 consoles and we cannot advise anything else further here.

    When your power Brick is making noises what color is it's indicator light?

    Try the following steps:

    1.Disconnect and reconnect all accessories.

    2.Remove the hard drive.

    3.Remove any USB flash drives.

    If you're getting E79 on a stock console with no HDD then you'll need to send it in for repair.
