How can I remove my Xbox account from another Xbox remotly

So I gave my Xbox account to a friend a while ago and he's recently moved, I can't get to his place and was wondering if there is a way to stop him using my account and interrupting my games and etc. Thanks in advance :/

Xbox is telling me to get Gold even though I have it?

Another way to attempt to fix this, is to remove the account from the xbox in settings->accounts-> remove accounts. After that is removed login with that gametag again to force the console to fetch your live subscription data. In rare cases your Xbox account and live account will lose sync.Click to expand...

Their is no way of removing an account remotely like that.

What you can do is go to account.live.com and change your password and then sign into your console and that will sign him out of your profile on his console and require the new password when he tries to sign back in and if he doesn't know the password he
is not going to be able to sign in on your profile on his console.

To remove your account from any suspicious console, sign into Microsoft account | Devices. Under the device's name, select More actions > Remove.

Hello, it seems that my other xbox was eventually forced to retype the password, it was just a bit delayed. So I assume the other xbox has been forced to do the same thing after. Thabks for the help

Hello, easiest way is just change your login password. Require password for sign in.

See the thing is, I tried doing that to one of my own devices as a test and after doing that, I was still able to sign on on the "removed" device, again no password needed..
