How can i redeem my game pass ultimate gift

On game pass ultimate they are giving out 3 choices of discord nitro spotify premium and something else and i just want to redeem my spotify premium but my xbox wont allow me

But he is a pc member and at the discord "how to redeem" page it states;
Note: Only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers receive a Nitro subscription. At this point in time, there isn't a way for PC only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to claim the Nitro gift.

Wait but why there’s the auto redeem option on rewards? I have my credit card on file! I’m just trying to switch my auto redeem from the 10$ gift card to the GAME PASS ULTIMATE that’s all!

Actually it is possible. Only redeeming Xbox gift cards are directly deposited into your account. If you redeem Game Pass Ultimate, you will be emailed a code and you can give him the code.

On the home screen, it should have a small box in the middle of the screen that says "Claim your Ultimate Gift now" and you should be able to click on it. If that isn't showing up, head to the Game Pass page on your Xbox dashboard, and it should have a box
that says the same thing on it in the middle of the page too.
