How can I redeem my 4 bonus GOW collection from my Gears of War 4 copy?

I'm getting an error while trying to redeem my games. I successfully redeemed my code for Gears of War judgement. But, GOW 1,2 & 3 always fail. The error code says :

"Change your language region in Settings"

"You can't acquire this item in your currently selected language".

I've already changed my region to US. And my language to English [USA]. Still no luck. Can anyone help me out? Thanks a lot!

hi I can't redeem my code for both gow 1 and 3. Got bundle collection when brought gow 4, am unable to redeem two codes

I can't redeem the codes of the bonus games: Gears of War 1 and 3 from my Gears of War 4. I have redeemed Gears 2 and Judgment but can't redeem the other 2 games. Can someone help me with this?

Only Gears 1 and 3 are region locked so you should be able redeem 2 as well. As far as the others, your account region has to match your physical location and you have to be in a region where the games are available. So if you set your account to the US,
but you are not physically in the US, they won't work.

Hi,

I have the same problem with my Xbox One S & Gears of War 4 - collection of all other GOW games - received by Xbox Live Message.

I cannot redeem just 2 of them... GOW 2 & Judgement worked only from Microsoft Account from my PC - try it.

GOW 1 & 3 ar not working giving me same error you say above. Have you solved the problem with these 2?

Sorry to hear about the internet woes. If your copy of Gears of War 4 is a disc copy, the codes for your legacy Gears of War collection should have been included in the game box. If you did not receive them, you will need to return to the retailer for further
assistance. If you redeemed a code for a digital copy of Gears of War 4, it had to be redeemed by December 31, 2016. For future reference, codes can be redeemed via Xbox.com and the Xbox app on smartphones as well as through a console.

Either way, at this point we are unable to assist further. Apologies for any frustrations this may cause.

Wait, what happens when you try to redeem the original GoW codes? As far as I know, the codes inside the retail copy of GoW 4 will always work unless already redeemed!

I redeemed mine and got GoW4 but apparently if I had done this before the 31st of December 2016 then I would have received a notification on my system about the other GoW games being available for download too. There was only one code for GoW4 and from what
I was told the other codes are automatically generated when the original one is redeemed.

So you got a digital copy of GoW 4?

I'm quite sure that the promotion is ended and you won't be able to get all the games for free... I played GoW and got the codes via XBL Message months ago!
