How can I recover sons Outlook email for Xbox Live?

The one thing you can do in this case, is change the primary email to your sons. Make sure you leave your outlook as a secondary on the account. If you do remove it, you will lose access to that email. As long as it is still on the account you will be able
to use it like normal. Also, it will be like a second way to recover your sons account, if he ever forgets password or something.

If you set him a new account he will lose all progress in game content etc. However you can

set your account as home and he will be able to share your gold and the games that are on your account.

There is an alternative like Amber suggested you can change the email associated to the account. As long as the email now is not a Microsoft email (Hotmail, live, outlook) and that email is not totally removed from the account you re good. So basically you
will create an email for your son. Then add it to the account, verify the email, then set that email as primary. You can leave your email as a secondary on the account in the event son forgets password then can recover it.

OK, so you are saying your recovery email is not yet set in place since you changed it??

So why can`t you wait until it is in place , then recover your account?

It seems you are trying to recover your outlook account rather than trying to recover your xbox live account.

why can`t you try recover access your xbox live account using your security proofs that were only added in the last couple of years?

Thank you for responding. Before suggesting any troubleshooting, could you provide the domain of the email which was deleted? Note, Microsoft emails (live, outlook, msn, etc) are deleted when removed from your account, and cannot be recovered.
