How can i record Xbox gameplay to my Mac Book Pro

I have a xbox 360(getting a X1 sometime soon) and a Mac Book Pro, how can i record? I tried a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 but i beleive it was the recording software that didnt work on a mac. Will a El gato work? im looking to record in HD preferably 1080

MAC error using Apple MacBook pro as WiFi connection

Hi,

I don't have WiFi internet at home and have an Ethernet cable plugged into my Mac Book Pro from my modem.

From there I can use the Mac Book Pro as a WiFi transmitter and can surf the net on my iPad and iPhone using the Wifi from the Mac Book Pro.

When I try and connect my XBOX One via Wifi to my Macbook Pro the Xbox one detects the Mac Book Pro and after I enter the password it mentions something about a MAC error.

Any idea how to fix this please?
