    How can i record my XBOX 360 screen?


    I wanted to record my XBOX 360 screen but i can't afford a capture card and i don't know any programs

    Xbox Live wont let me sign in

    Okay I don't know how to start a forum but I can post. Now I can't record on xbox one with game DVR pops up a error I forget which one but I'd like it to work I even try saying "xbox record that" and it doesn't work. Well also I have my xbox 360 hooked up
    to my xbox one and it's playing my xbox 360 through the watch tv app on xbox one I'd like for the recored feature to work so I can record my games that I play on my xbox 360.

    I have a brand new toshiba dvd recorder, and i want to start recording xbox games on a dvd disk, can someone pls tell me how to hook this dvd recorder to my xbox 360?

    Unfortunately, for the Xbox 360 a capture device is absolutely necessary. There is no way around it.

    The
    Elgato Gamecapture HD60     device is recommended if you want to record the Xbox 360 screen in HD via HDMI. But if you're really on a budget, and you don't mind the game video being "only" SD quality, you can get
    composite video grabbers for under US$20. You connect to such capture devices with the yellow/red/white plugs.

    If you want to record your screen to store the video for later use (i.e. no live streaming), you can capture your video with the
    free VirtualDub software. VirtualDub also allows for basic video editing and converting.

    If you want to live stream your gameplay, you will need a streaming software like
    XSplit or
    OBS     or similar.

    Ok sir, I got your point but sir just a last question, sir is there any third party software which can replace Xbox (a software which can record screen, record my voice and record system sound), I don't care which format it saves my recording to, but just I want a perfect screen recorder, if there is such a software, then please suggest me and I will be extremely thankful and grateful to you.

    how to manually use the game recorder on the xbox one?

    I brought an HD PV2 Hauppauge PVR at the very beginning of this year and use it to record on my Xbox 360 and Xbox 1. The PVR uses HDMI connection to the consoles. Have had Xbox 1 since 22 November (launch) and don't quite know how to use the Kinect to record.
    With my PVR, and the included software (ArchSoft Showbiz) on my laptop, can record as much or little as I want and it records chat too. Records me chatting through my laptop's built-in mic.
