How can I reactivate my account

I have been asked to verify my account but the phone number is an old one and I can’t access it! I have tried the recovery form a few times but had no luck! Not sure what to do next?

Hello Pat, if you have already tried the account recovery form without success, in this case you should contact Xbox Customer Service via chat and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

However, ATO is a similar procedure to the online form, but done by a Microsoft agent, it will need as much information as possible for you to do the procedure.

Here in the community we are independent consultants, so we do not have access to the same information and tools that support has.

Each account recovery case is unique, and if you request the ATO, you must wait for a response from Microsoft's investigation department.

I WAS robbed! How difficult is it to reactivate my old gold account? How fair is it to simply suck up all that remaining time? I don’t need a refund, I just want my 11 remaining months! I don’t need a lecture I just need to talk to someone at Microsoft that can see the issue.
