How can I purchase Microsoft Complete for Elite Controller 2? Support is passing me in circles.

I cant seem to find a way to add on Microsoft complete for my elite controller 2. Through the store app it tells me I have to contact support, I contact them who tell me I need to speak with the xbox team and pass me through to them... which turns out to
be a pre recorded message telling me to go to xbox.com/help and request a call back because of high call volume. I do that and then getting a number is nearly impossible.

Using the virtual agent I can get to a stage where it asks if I want to speak with a person and gives me a "call me back" option and asks for my number. I input that and then it just give me "There was an error connecting you. Feel free to ask another
question or try again." ive tried over 10 times, same result every time.

I cant purchase it online, Microsoft sales keep transferring me to xbox "because that's who can add it on" - always to pre recorded message then hangs up.

Im at wits end, I need to purchase this as I know its going to break. I got my first controller and had to send it back as it was faulty right out of the box. and reading about online I have not got much confidence in it lasting too long, which is
a shame as it is a really good controller when its working fine.

Any help is much appreciated

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am in the UK, do you have that number by any chance? I have been ringing 08000260329 but they keep transferring me saying they can't add it on.

it seems that the Elite Series 2 controllers are eligible for the "Microsoft Complete" plan, which provides extended coverage and support for your controller for up to 3 years. This coverage even includes damage from accidents, not just defects. Just keep in mind that after purchasing the controller, you have up to 45 days to request the plan.

At the bottom of the previous website, it indicates that this plan is also available for Elite Series 2 controllers. I will immediately quote the part where this is indicated:

"Microsoft Complete is available in select markets for Surface Go, Surface Pro, Surface Laptop, Surface Book, Surface Studio, Surface Type Cover and Pro Keyboards, Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Xbox One X, Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 and must be purchased at the time of device purchase or within 45 days after purchase with device inspection. In European countries, Microsoft Complete must be purchased from the same retailer from which the original device was purchased."

Just purchased a brand new xbox one elite series 2 controller. it came with a 14 day free trial for xbox game pass ultimate. code says its already been used. hows this possible?
