How can I protect myself against racists online?

Was just playing a game, and these people decided to kill me, take all my [mod removed], and non stop scream [mod removed] for like 5 whole minutes, after I leave the game, they then message me, still being toxic the entire time, so I retaliate, and get immediately comm banned, is this how Microsoft as a company wants to tolerate racism? Protect the racists and let the actual people of color suffer? If this does not get resolved, I will refund everything that I can and move to PlayStation.

I should have done that, but I’ve reported stuff like this so many times before and xbox doesn’t enforce anything unless it’s typed out in a message

Report them and block them as soon as they start doing things like that instead of responding.

The irony of your “to protect players” comment is laughable. Someone is racist and they receive no ban, can be seen by others to have been online constantly yet call them toxic and you get a ban? Microsoft really do need a reality check, if only interested sun protecting the racists!
