How can I play all games install game without disc?

Not sure digital version will be better for my xbox one can handle but thanks for the help.

I only have two retail game install I can play without the game that are xbox one but can I play them all retail games I owned or willI need licence for them:I'm still getting used of xbox one.

To install and play a game you own on Disc (even backwards compatible games on Xbox one) you need to insert the disc, install it and have it in the console the whole time you want to play it.

This is different if you own the game digitally (not on disc).

If you are talking about the game you own on disc but don't have, you will have to get the disc and insert it to play. There's no remote installing if you don't have the disc in and if you don't own the digital copy.

If you own the game digitally and it's backwards compatible (or an Xbox one game) please go to My Games and Apps > Ready to Install and find your game and install it.

If you own the game digitally on Xbox 360 please go to Settings > Account > Download history and download the game again.

If you have the disc you need the disc to play unless you own the digital version as well.

The only way to play a game without a Disc is to buy the digital version. Otherwise you will need the Disc as proof of ownership to launch and play the game.
