    How can I more easily reconnect my Xbox controller to my Windows PC?


    I use my controller with multiple devices but when trying to reconnect it to my Windows PC I run into issues.

    When trying to reconnect it, it remains in the Bluetooth list as if its still paired, and when I hold the button to put the controller into pairing mode the Bluetooth list shows that the controller is paired intermittently but the Xbox button doesn't stay solidly lit.

    Annoyingly, Windows doesn't let you "forget" a Bluetooth device like android does. I tried to remove the controller and connect to it again but it always says "remove failed". Android handles this much better by being able to forget a device and add it again. I can't do that in this case because Windows thinks its paired already so even with the controller in pairing mode, Windows isn't recognising it as a new device to be added.

    What can I do to make reconnecting my controller to my PC easier?
