How can i make sure i can play Digital games and DLC linked to my profile on my OTHER ...

Kinda complicated issue but i have 3 Xbox's, my main system a Gears 3 Slim 320Gb where all of my original content is downloaded and thus my DRM rights are held. I also have a Limited edition Halo reach 250gb, and a limited edition Halo 4 320Gb. I would
like to be able to transfer/clone my entire hard drive to each system, so i have the same information on each. These are my backup systems for the future. How can i make sure all my DLC and Digital game will play and recognize with just my Profile on my
other systems, after Microsoft discontinues Live service for the 360? Mind you i understand and actually prefer they only work using MY profile, but i want it to work without being connected to live. One day my Gears 3 slim WILL die, after that id like to
be able to continue playing on either of my halo backup consoles.

ok so i have 3 xbox's on my network, mucho dlc and a family account (4 profiles) if I always use my main profile to buy dlc then technically i can play 2 different profiles (say my profile and my son can play his profile) at the same time on 2 seperate xbox's
and use the dlc on both provided I sign my profile in on the xbox that doesn't have the dlc on it and my son uses his account that had the dlc downloaded on it correct? or is this a no go? Basically I want to party up with my son/daughter and play the dlc
(that I bought) on seperate full screen tv's/xbox's..

 

Getting DLC on my non-Live Xbox overseas

So my team and I work in Afghanistan and we don't have Internet connection. We play our 2 xbox's that are system linked together. I'm on leave in the states and was wondering if there is any way that I can get some DLC on a flash drive or any other way
that I can bring Live content overseas and update or consoles? We have some games that we really like that we can't even play do to bugs (Borderlands 2). I hate that the non connected guys are completely shut out for updates that are required to play games.
I've purchased the DLC content on my live profile at home, but I'll even buy it again if I need to in order to bring it back for us. If I can buy it again, do I have to get it twice, one for each console? Thanks in advance.

 

Unless something changes when that time comes, which could be a very long time, you will only be able to continue playing offline on the console that has your licenses. It is not possible to have your console licenses on more than 1 console.

 

Is it possible to transfer the original licenses in case console dies? By transplanting same hard drive or using transfer cable?

 

The licenses are tied to the console so using the same hard drive would not transfer the licenses and licenses cannot be transferred via transfer cable. The only way to transfer licenses is through a licence transfer over Live.

 

Well...that sucks. So I pretty much wasted years of money on digits things that are basically tied to single device that when it dies, I'm ***. ok ok. 1 last hope here. If I go to my other consoles, wipe them clean and with my profile choose to download
for to that system for first time halo3, which I own. Will I create a new license for that system.

 

As long as you're signed into Live, you will be able to play your games and content. Downloading the game on another console will not create a new console license. You would have to perform a license transfer. You don't need the previous console in order
to perform a license transfer. So if your main system dies, you just perform a license transfer on the console you want to be your new main system.

 

Well, that helps little bit. At least it's recoverable. Still requires live connection, really scared what will happen when service dies. Maybe a year or two left, if microsoft follows suit with how they handled OG Xbox. Hopefully they offer huge patch
very last month service is up that lifts all those requirements since the console at that point will be abandoned. don't have to worry about people doing whatever it is they were afraid of them doing now.
