    How can i make my xbox recognise my gold membership?


    Last week i renewed my gold membership with a pre paid gift card. It worked fine for the first few days and then yesterday, it just is not working anymore, and wont let me join any parties or online games. Under my games and apps however, it still says that
    i have the membership and it is valid. I have tried resetting my xbox one, and removing my account, but the issue persists, as it also does when i tried my account my old xbox 360. Is there anything i can do to get it to work again?

    Xbox Live Gold - not recognised by Xbox one

    Xbox live gold - my xbox doesn't recognise my gold subscription, for example, when i try to join a party, or play an online game, the xbox tells me i need gold, however in my subscriptions menu as well as my previous purchases it says that i already have
    gold.

    Hi there, my Xbox has been struggling for a while now to read games, normally it will work after a while of taking the disc out n putting it back in. However I just got quantum break delivered today but it's not even recognising the disc to start the installation process. After a couple of tries( ejecting the disc and putting it back in) it makes the sound as if it doesn't is about to work but it doesn't even recognise it. I got the Xbox three years ago and everything else works fine. As I mentioned it has had trouble reading discs for a while but now it's not even recognising the disc, I tried quantum break in my brothers Xbox and it worked perfect first time. I was wondering if this problem can be fixed by independent stores and roughly how much this would cost. Any replies will be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Make sure your son is signed in on the same gamertag the 12 month membership was redeemed on. If you have and it's still not recognising it's a Gold-enabled gamertag, you can have it
    refresh by either re-downloading the gamertag or testing your Xbox Live connection.

    As long as she has a gamertag.. can be a silver.... no need for XBL, as long as she is on your HOME GOLD XB1, she will be able to access all apps and games

    If you are trying to make the Xbox One X your home console so you can share your gold across the console with your family make, make sure you go in to your settings and select my xbox and set it to your home console.
