    how can i lower my High latency (ms)?


    Hello,

    i decided to get my xbox one off the shelf wich had been collecting dust all year.

    now i bought xbox life gold and checked on my network setting wich said:

    Downl speed: 151.28 Latency 155

    Upload speed: 14.91 NAT type; OPEN

    packet loss 0% Detailed NAT info; Your network is behind a cone NAT

    MTU 1480 Status code; 0x1040000040000000

    Now when i do an internetspeed test on my PC i get 10 ms/ping.

    my question is, why do i have a ping/ms/latency of 155 on my xbox ????? what is this madnuz?

    I am struggling with latency a couple of weeks now. It seems like I have 334 ms latency, but saw on the internet that it needs to be around 150ms. I also heard that the servers are in Seattle or something like that. I live in the Netherlands, so what can
    i do to lower my latency to around 150ms?

    Downloadspeed: 13,15 Mbps

    Uploadspeed: 18,37 Mbps

    Packetloss: 0%

    MTU: 1480

    Latency: 334ms at the moment. highest latency was 515ms

    I have a wireless connection and thats 100%

    I hope to get a reaction quick, so I can play again.

    Connected nat open.

    I think the One is glitched a bit as mine changes moderate to open and its not our routers or connection as i done tests and they fine i have 76 mbps download speed and 2.5 mbps upload but i got a high latency of 200 ms which doesnt make sence as all other
    items on network have very low pings like 8 - 45 and my xbox only 15 feet from router why is there such a high latency ?

    The latency is so high because it pings a central server in Seattle. Living in the UK i get around 160 ms. The closer you get the lower the ping.

    This ping doesn't mean anything when gaming online. Most games choose the closest server to your region/location to connect to games.
