How can I login to Minecraft:Java edition on my pc with Microsoft if it won’t let me click it?

If you're on xbox: Go to the microsoft store and lookup minecraft, click the download button and wait for it to install.
If you're on PC: Go to https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft-java-bedrock-edition-pc and login to your account, then click the download link and open the file and follow the instructions.

Do not worry if you have already purchased Minecraft in your account because the license of the game will be automatically linked to your account. Our focus now is to resolve the signing issue with your Microsoft account.

By the way, what do you mean by you can sign your account without an issue if you choose Mojang login option? Are you using your Microsoft account to sign in?

Additionally, to check if there is an issue with your Microsoft account, please sign in your account through this link and tell us if you can sign in just fine. Sign in your account here.

For the meantime, check if you have signed in the same Microsoft account in Microsoft Store and Xbox app and try signing in your account in Minecraft Launcher. This is to make sure your permissions for the game can be validated, be sure to sign in to both the Store and the Xbox app using the same account that was used to purchase the game.

You can also sign in your Minecraft account through the Minecraft website directly and sign in with Microsoft account and check if you can sign in without an error. See the link below:

I appreciate you letting me know. On Microsoft Store, the only bundle that includes Java Edition is Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition for PC, I would like to clarify, is that the game version that you purchased?

I'm sorry to hear about this issue. Typically, you can access the Java version if you're using the same account where your Minecraft Bedrock was purchased. The Java Edition will be available if you sign in to your old account.

If you're trying to claim the free Java version on a different account, that won't be possible. If you've previously purchased Minecraft, you should be able to claim the other version. Here’s how:

1. Click here https://aka.ms/JavaBedrockEdition to go to the Microsoft Store listing for Minecraft: Java & Bedrock for PC.

2. Sign-in to the Microsoft Store with your Microsoft account.

3. Once you’re signed in, instead of a “Buy” button you should see a button that says “Get.” Click this button – and now you own both editions!

After you have gotten both editions, you can download and install the Minecraft Launcher to access your games.
