How can I join public worlds and realms I’ve been invited to in Minecraft?

In Minecraft, whenever I attempt to join a public world or realm, I can’t see the world(s) or accept the invite(s). It says on the “Friends” tab: “You cannot play multiplayer because of how your account is set up. Please ensure your online safety settings allow multiplayer. See instructions for changing these settings at aka.ms/MCMultiplayerhelp.”, which when confirming multiplayer settings and allowing it, it still doesn’t work. Any solutions?

dabear64 has Minecraft Windows 10 and bought a realm (da bear clan) and who has Minecraft Java can not get into the realm. has been invited, yet I see no invitations to join. has tried the email link to the realm as well,
but still can't link together or join or play in da bear clan realm. Please advise so we can enjoy our new minecraft realm.
