How can i join in mcpe when my friend invites me to bis external server?

Which version of Minecraft are you using and on which plattform?

I can join the horizon servers just fine, it’s just that when I go to invite friends in the pause menu, I’m expecting to see my friends list pull up when I select “invite friends” after pressing “manage convoy”

I can only join my friends world when he invites me to his workd, but their world does not pop up when I go on the friends tab. They also have their world on friends only and he already has me added as a friend. All my other friends can join his world
except for me. The only way I can join is if they invite me. I need help with this pls

Thanks for the reply. I have an Xbox one model number 1540.

So, my friend is running a private server and that does not show up when I search for it, he sends me an invite and when I click on it nothing happens, I ask you join the game and the screen does not change, I am able to join the group that is playing and can hear them all fine.

I also see the bell notification for a game invite and when I click on the invite it just disappears off my screen.

I get no error messages and can join other maps/servers fine that are shown on the listings. All my friends are able to join without any issues.

Current network status was fine.

I have something like that happening to me right now. When I'm in one of my worlds and I click invite friends, none of my friends show up in that window. I think Xbox live is having some compatibility issues with MCPE right now.
