    How can I hear game chat in party?


    I use to be able to hear game-chat while I was in a party, but I knotice i havnt been able to hear them

    my set it is XBOX- HDMI optical- to HDPVR2 - to pc, and optical cable from xbox to astro mixamp

    in my pref's i play threw both checked, and party and game on 10

    How do I hear GAME CHAT from speakers? I can see icons that players are talking but not hear them. PARTY CHAT is audible.

    how come i cant hear any party or game chat when i stream from the app? i can only hear game sound

    When you are in a party you go to party options and then choose the Game as chat channel.

    Question, I can hear the game audio, but I cant change the chat volume, yet I can still hear my friends in party's and game chat. The only way I can change how loud there voice is to change the game volume on my X12. I tried going to preferences and voice,
    but when I switch to play through headset, I don't hear my friends. Is there anyway I can change my friends voice volume? Because chat volume doesn't work on game chat and party chat.

    How have you got your headset connected?

    I ask because as there are separate volume controls for chat and game sound you should not encounter this problem.

    Whenever I stream on twitch on my Xbox, my chat cant hear my friends in game chat not party just the in-game chat. How do I get them to hear them without a capture card or anything? I have a Kinect sensor.
    As far as I'm aware, that feature is not available at this time. Your friends will need to be in party chat with you and will have to stay in party chat in order for your viewers to hear them.

    Party chat - anyone that's in your party can only hear this

    In-game chat: Anyone in the vicinity or the entire server (Depending on the game) can hear
