    How can I give my account to someone else but keep my own onedrive?


    Hi!

    A couple years ago my little brother got his own XB1. I helped him set it up using my Microsoft account due to him being to young for his own.
    Now I'd like him to have more control over it himself and would like to give him the account, but I have it connected to OneDrive on my computer and people have shared things with me on that account. What happens if I give over my account, is there some way of me keeping the OneDrive part and just giving over all the xbox-related stuff to him?

    Thank you again very much for your help! I don't own an Xbox myself so I'm not fully fledged in that area. I'll make sure when gets his own account, but that my account is set as the home Xbox.

    Hi, absolutely!
    You can do that, that's the best option in your case.

    In his console you can add your account and add the recently created account for him
    Then set your account as home Xbox in the console and he can use your games and live gold (or game pass / game pass ultimate)
    But keep in mind that not everything can be shared.

    Unfortunately nope, if you give your Microsoft account to him he is going to be able to access to your one drive and all the services on your account (like outlook email address, office 365, etc)

    There is no way to separate or unlink only the Xbox profile
