how can i get this disk to work and download ?

We may need to install the game digitally, please follow the steps below:

"1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it."

Hi Gio,

if you install a game from disc you often will be asked if you want to update the game.

Always answer this question with NO ! during the install process !

After the installation is completed, start the game and then you can download the update.

If you accept the update, it will stop the installation until the update has been downloaded

It does, but I would imagine it works something like how PC games handle steam keys, where you can just go ahead and redeem the key and download it and not bother with the disk, since what's on the disk and what's available to download(assuming all games
have purchasable download versions) are identical.

Found a fix that worked for me. Download the game onto your harddrive and download disk#2 from XboxLive.

If you are unsure how to do this, when you get to the loadscreen, mousover the "play game" and hit X then go to download onto harddrive.

I think my Xbox was having a hard time reading the disk, if that was not an issue for you this may not fix your problem.
