How can I get my forza 4 files back?

I booted up forza horizon 4 on my pc (I mostly play Xbox) and it said something about a corrupted file or something and asked me to go to an earlier save, I couldn’t back out so I just said ok. It then took me about 2 years prior and a lot poorer in game. I went back to my Xbox to see if it effected it there and last time I played fh4 on there it was perfectly fine, no messages or anything. But apparently the computer saved progress that went to the Xbox too now I can’t play my actual account just a poorer version of it. Does anyone know how to access my most current files from before I went back on my Xbox or pc etc? I would like to know how to get my so and so “corrupted” files back to where I was before this happened.

None of this will help as the save has been over-written by a newer save. And that includes cloud save as they used the Xbox after PC so the Xbox would have synced with the cloud.

If your Forza Horizon 4 progress has been lost due to a corrupted file, there are a few steps you can try to recover your saved game data:

There's nothing that can be done as the newer save would have over-written the old save..even PGG wouldn't be able to do anything

Credits do not transfer. Or, if they do, I haven't figured out how (yes, I transfered my profile. Yes, it brought some of my forza 3 cars into 4).

EDIT: I just read that you CAN get credits when import your file while the servers are online. The servers are currently offline and I transfered my level 50 Forza 3 profile... oops.

I found that I can't sync, get my old data back. But, I found a way to get the forza horizon 4 in my second account! In Microsoft store it says that I can play forza horizon 4,or buy to my own. Does this mean that I have to buy the game? I think no.
