Since I already have season pass, I will be getting the House Of Wolves DLC and hopefully Bungie / Activision will be releasing " free " DLC as an apology for the lack of content in the core Destiny 1 game.

The only way that I will be going anywhere near Destiny 2 is if the core content of Destiny 2 is as big as...

" Destiny 1 core content + The Dark Below DLC content + House Of Wolves DLC content "

combined on the initial $60.00 of Destiny 2.

Not sure how I’m feeling about looter shooters. Destiny 1 was and in my opinion the best of its kind towards end of its life cycle. I feel at the moment Destiny 2 may not be the best but I feel it has more to offer than Anthem and Division 2. The promise
of free dlc can be lacking if the launch does not go as successful as predicted.

Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're trying to purchase a DLC for the game Destiny 2. For some DLC content purchases they require that you have the pre-requisite DLC already purchased in order to buy it. Is the said DLC the
Forsaken DLC? I recommend reaching out to the Destiny 2 developers for help with purchasing the DLC. Please let us know how it goes.

You can download Destiny 2, and it's DLC from the Xbox app on PC. So your friend who plays on Xbox and PC can play Destiny 2 and the DLC you gifted him on the PC, as long as the PC he has is powerful enough for the game.
