How can I get my character back?

Bungie Deleted Item and Character Policy

Bungie says "The choices players make in Destiny are often permanent. Please be careful when performing any of the above actions."

However, it does not hurt to try petitioning Bungie support.

You know how rediculous that sounds. "hey guys can we go back to the lobby so I can get my -X- character, cuz I hate playin as Marcus"

You need to pay for a new gamertag you can't change your gamertag for free or you can contact support on this issue
