How can I get ipv6

I have a xbox one connected currently to ipv4. Went through the steps to switch it over to ipv6 but my computer isn't wired to the internet. It is in the next room on wifi. In network settings my ivp4 & ipv6 are checked in the location box but after selecting
the add button then ok button it clearly states I'm only connected to ipv4 & that ipv6 is disconnected. The only way I see it working out is if I connect my computer to my Internet or manually put in the ipv6 ip address but don't know what it is? I need help
could someone hook me up with some answers because I can't figure it out? Can it be done from a computer on wifi is so then how? Thank you for your response

I'm not sure regarding your request here, but IPv6 is a layer 3 (IP) and version 6 of this protocol. The one that determines and dictate the use of such an address is your Internet Service Provider. That is if you're referring to a native IPv6 address. In
That's sense that It's native from your end.

Just to add to what HeadshotPenguin has said if your internet service provide does not support IPv6 on your connection you will not be able to use this feature on your Xbox One.
