    How can I get Halo MCC progress from Xbox to Steam?


    Hello, I have played halo mcc on Xbox since release. I have completed the campaigns etc.

    When I play on PC Xbox gamepass, I have all my progress.

    I purchased MCC on steam last night. I linked my Xbox acc, which did give me all my achievements, BUT all campaigns show 0 completed.

    If I go back to gamepass, MCC shows all my progress.

    I have signed in and out of both. Not sure what to do next.

    Can you help?

    Hello Legendery A! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

    Unfortunately, campaign progress is not able to be transferred over. I think this is due to the way the different platforms save for the campaign as the MS cloud and Steam cloud are not linked. Multiplayer will carry over as well as the achievements.

    Why did Halo MCC uninstall its self on my PC???

    does on xbox a lot of the time, but i have had it happen with forza 3 and 4 on pc and halo mcc, so i gave up and bought on steam as steam can verify files and i never get a failed update.

    It doesnt help that alot of the games are in vxd format (virtual xbox disc) and basically is an image.

    but i think halo mcc is just files but in the encrypted folders, i dont think windows can verify the files if the update fails.

    Forza Horizon Series. When is it coming to Steam on PC.

    Since it is an Xbox Exclusive I doubt it will come to steam, that being said, Halo MCC is on steam if im not mistaken

    I've Forza Horizon Ultimate Steam Edition and Game Pass Ultimate Account and Xbox Series S console. Why I can't sync game progress to Game Pass Account from Steam?

    works the same way as halo mcc, all save data and game progress carried over for me, including all cheevos that opened all my steam cheevos up.

    you sign in to the xbox live servers to play and all game saves for that are carried over. i know i play both via steam and console. its the same with sea of thieves too.

    [Forza Horizon] If I buy Forza Horizon 5 through steam, and have Forza Horizon 4 through the microsoft store, will I be able to sync my designs, tunes, etc, with my FH4 save?

    tis a bit daft though, as halo mcc and sea of thieves and other games that are Microsoft published all support cross save from steam to pc and even Xbox.
