How can I get gamechat to play through TV again? without Kinect.

Now I already think it was annoying i couldn't set my audio to play thru speakers or headset or both like 360 does. I used to at least be able to at least hear gamechat while my mic is unplugged. since i cannot play music thru my headset like on the Xbox
360, i need to unplug my headset as my headset blocks out outside noise, and to not annoy other players and get muted.

Now after the Preview version of Windows 10 on xbox one i hear nothing when my mic is unplugged, this made me think maybe with the update there could possibly have some setting now to turn that on as a setting, but not that ive been able to find.

Mute All Players On All Games

on xbox one how to i permanently mute all player, i dont use kinect or a head set i just want to play games without hearing other people through my tv, surely there must be a way ?

Play chat through both headset and tv?

Is there an option similar to the 360 which makes you listen to voice chat to both the headset and the tv, without the use of the kinect? I'm trying to record some gameplay with member in my party and game, but you can't do so without buying extra things
or the kinect.

I also think its was bloody stupid to take away that option. My wife used to love being able to hear me and my friends chat with the chat coming through the tv speakers and my headset on the 360, ever since xb1 launched i have been unable to do this and
she feels left out.

Unacceptable that you spend all that money for a new system thats supposed to be more advanced than the old one yet basic features like this have been taken out.

I have an issue where nobody can hear me in the gamechat at all. Only in party chat. What can I do to get audio using Kinect in gamechat?

Sorry but everyone in my living room doesnt need to hear game chat and the people playing the game with me dont need to hear my family doing whatever. Plus, who wants to hear gamechat through their tv?

Using Kinect I cannot be heard using gamechat, only party chat. Yet the Kinect works on every other game. Is there a solution? Its frustrating.

Hey there dartsytopps!

Sorry to hear about the channel changing issue. Try to set up OneGuide again, but this time without the Kinect sensor plugged in. To get to those settings, follow these instructions:

Press the menu button on your Xbox One controller and select Settings.
From the Setting menu, select TV & OneGuide.
From here, select Troubleshooting and 'Reset TV settings'.
From this point you can set up OneGuide, but this time do it without the Kinect Sensor plugged in.

Try those steps and let us know how it goes!
