How can I fix the problem/error code "this app (xbox app) cant open"

If you already closed the Xbox app, may I know if you tried looking related process via Task manager and close them manually and finally try again?

If yes, what about reinstalling the Microsoft store using this tutorial?

I am having the same exact issue. i cant access anything. i get the same error code, cant get to my setting, friends, games and apps, cant even open up black ops 3. this needs fixed asap.my xbox is a vegetable until then.

Just do one or all of the following to see if it works.

• methods to fix “Do you own this game or app?” (Error code 0x803f8001)” error on Xbox console
• Option 1. Power cycle Xbox one
• Option 2. Perform hard reset
• Option 3. Clean Windows Store cache
• Option 4. Set home console
• Option 5. Clear persistent storage data

Hey,

I cant sign out of the Xbox app because I cant open it.

I tried all the other stuff and it did not fix the problem.

I am not apart of the Insider program and I don't know what Xbox app version I have.

That depends, is it one game/app that has the error or multiple games/apps. If it's one then try the steps here: http://support.xbox.com/en-CA/xbox-one/errors/error-code-8027025a

Alternatively, there are YouTube videos that have other methods of fixing this error code because of the many ways this error happens. Simply search: xbox one error code 0x8027025a. Videos with possible fixes to this should pop up.

If the problem is like what I described in the previous posts, then I have no idea. I gave up entirely after trying the majority of the methods. Now, I just wait until the games are playable.
