How can I fix the “installation stopped”?

I appreciate your efforts. For game disc installation issue, have you tried to clear your local saves and go offline when installing the game?

1.
Eject the disc from your console.
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.
Select Clear local saved games.
Note Selecting this option will not delete any games or progress you have saved in the Xbox cloud. It will only clear data you have saved locally.
Select Yes to confirm.
Once your console restarts, try installing the game again.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings > Go offline.

May I also know what steps have you already tried so far?
Are you trying to install a game digitally or through disc?

Hi again I try the first method and it did work but only for disc games the online games are still not working. Also I noticed when I did the reset it did remove the Xbox game pass I bough for 12 months I tried everything but still can’t get a refund about that

I have a Xbox one s I was using these solution and more:

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.

Next, unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.

After that, plug the power cord back in and restart the console.Power off your console and unplug the power cord.

Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the BIND button and the EJECT button at the same time, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

Continue holding the BIND and EJECTbuttons for 10–15 seconds.

Then you can hear two "power-up" tones a couple of seconds apart. Release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

After you get the Troubleshoot menu up, try choosing reset and keep my games & apps.

I’ll been trying to install both digital and through disc but still same problem, it all happened because I was playing and then the game froze and it all ended very bad with no loading games etc

Unfortunately, it seems likely you'll need to perform a complete reset of your console.

Would you mind giving these a try?

- Go to Settings > System > Storage devices, and make sure you have enough free storage space for this game.

Sometimes an installation process will stop due to a lack of storage even if you don't get the usual "Free up some space" notification.

• If you continue to get an installation stopped error despite having enough storage space:

- Cancel the installation.
- Uninstall a game from your console's internal storage unit.
- Try installing COD again.

• If uninstalling a game doesn't work, I'd suggest performing a complete factory reset of your console.

As a fellow gamer, I understand this may be a lot to ask considering you'd need to reinstall your games, but If there's any way I could have your trust in this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

* If you have an external storage unit you'd like to move some games to before doing the reset, you can do so at Settings > System > Storage devices > Select your internal storage > Move or copy.

To do so:

- Go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset Xbox > Remove everything
- Just keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (for each account) to sign in again.

* Note: Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and the Xbox Network, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

- Once the reset is complete, try installing COD before any other game.
