How can i fix my disc game not fully downloading

If that doesn't work, you may need to try installing the game digitally by following the steps below.

First, make sure that your console is set correctly for remote installation, follow the steps below:

"Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

Select the Enable remote features checkbox.

Under Power options, select Sleep."

Once done, make sure that you have an Xbox App installed on your mobile device and that your console is already added, click the console icon on the top right corner then "Add console", and make sure to choose "Add an existing console" and just follow the prompt.

Now to install the game follow the steps below:

"1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

3. Launch the Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it."

Kindly check first if your storage has enough space for the game installation. If it has enough space, please try the steps below.

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

Solution 2: Do a factory reset



1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

Sadly, the system decides the language based on where you download from. You would need to find the english disc copy to fix it fully.

Ready to Play doesn't mean the game is fully installed, it just means that there is enough of the game there that you can load it. This is true of installing from disc or downloading.

Sometimes games are not fully finished when they are being burned on a disc due too time restrictions with getting the disc out on release. The update can still include critical game files and bug fixes which are necessary to start the game.
