How can I find out who my Developer Account Manager is and if I dont have one, what do I need ...

I am a Microsoft developer who is working on a game prototype in Unreal Engine.
I was informed by a member of the support staff at Epic Games that to get the official Xbox UE4 Engine Fork access needed to be granted after following through with some (overly convoluted) MSFT outlined process. I was told I needed to
go through my Microsoft Representative (my DAM) or "Developer Account Manager" who needed to provide Epic with an "all clear, this guy is good, he paid his dues, hes a real MSFT dev", then I would be able to deploy my UE4 game to an Xbox and begin testing
it on a Dev mode activated Xbox sideloaded.

Since I dont know my Microsoft Representative I'm stuck trying to get access to the UE4 Engine Fork that is meant to target Xbox! I already have it working for UWP, but I need some kind of code fork of the engine to let me target the Xbox instead
of just Windows. Please help or tell me what I need to do.

Whats worse and THE Worst especially coming from a Software Company of MSFT's
caliber is neither MPN Support or Xbox Support knew what I was even asking about. Make matters worse MPN Support sent me to some xbox links, that were only for Consumer support, not xbox developer support. Then those people sent me
right back to the place I started with MPN support.

Then I opened a case with Visual Studio support. They had no idea. They tried to send me to both MPN Support and Xbox (Customer) Support. Are you kidding me MSFT? You neuter the tools and the training and whittle the ability for support staff to lend
any meaningful support that immediately upon reaching any support staff I almost want to just immediately ask for a supervisor to spare me the inadequecy and ultimate frustration and waste of my valuable time and loss of productivity.



No one knew how to handle the sitch, no one knew what I was even talking about, even though all I wanted to know was who my Microsoft Developer Account Manager is. Seems like a very a straightforward question. Passing the buck, putting me
in catch 22's, inept support channels and tools they support tiers have access too that even allows them (and I say this loosely) to provide "support". Sad thing is. I have UWP apps in the Windows store. Im a Microsoft Dev who has been doing development
for over 20 years professionally and love VS frameworks, and MSFT Dev tools, but getting correct or any legit information and support from Microsoft is just a bad joke. Like Not dad joke bad, but like you know, those kind of really bad jokes. Thats MSFT
Support in a nutshell and has helped me understand why games on Xbox versus other platforms are doing so poorly... BECAUSE The process of getting a game on Xbox (WITH THE WORLDS BEST REALTIME ENGINE in Unreal) is closer to climbing Mt Everest and further from
baking a cake and its not the framework. I already have the game coded in unreal. Its just targetting the platform, getting access to help and a basic workflow like why does a MSFT Rep even need to reach out on my behalf to talk to Epic??? What a PIA, but
alas, fine, Ill deal with an asinine business process with no clear motivation, but at least tell me who my friken Sales rep.... I mean Account Manager is!!!!!!!!!! #WhatsmyDAM #developeraccountmanager #cmonman

Problems Managing my Account

I'm having serious problems managing my account and it's starting to make me very angry. I'm a xbox live gold member till mid-December. Yet, I can't even access my account because I have to update my payment method.

Not only do I find it stupid that I have to remove an old credit card for my account to be suspended, but I can't even download my profile to do anything via Xbox!

The problems I'm having is I go to the manage payment options and then it has me type in a code sent to me via phone. This is difficult because I have poor service at my house, but not impossible. Once I get that done it asks me for a parent account, I am
a parent account! Why do I need parental permission?? How do i even find out who this parent of mine is (cause I don't have one)

What do I do??

 

Account being hacked

hi, dont know if i put it under the right one or if anyone can help but i was wondering if there is anyway i can find out who is hacking my account. They are sending nasty messages to my partner and mates saying its from my son and i need to find out if
its any of my mates that are doing it.

Why does every support person send you basic links and main line numbers that don't address or even appear to listen to the stated problem?

@M3tal Daz3? Did you even read or recall what my post was asking? I already AM a Microsoft Developer.

Meaning, in other words I ALREADY HAVE SETUP A DEVELOPER ACCOUNT. Sorry to shout, but when people aren't listening I find it effective to get my point across. So ftr: I already am a Microsoft Developer. Have been for years. What I need to know is.....
What I need to know is.... What I need to know is.... Who is my Developer Account Manager?? Repeating myself sometimes is effective to getting through as well when people arent listening. Sorry, but I don't know how else to communicate if originally
I speak plainly and clearly and am still misunderstood.

So again. What I need to know is, who is my DEVELOPER ACCOUNT MANAGER or DAM? At this point, that means two things.

Please for the love of all things sacred, get me some information that is pertinent. Thank you. -Matt
