    How can I find out what parent account (Family) I am signed into?


    I am trying to add an already existing child account to my already existing parent account (into my family), but when I try to add the child account it says that he is already in another family. The only way to get remove him from the other family is if
    I sign in as the adult account to remove him. But I don't know what adult account the child account is signed into. By the way, I own all these accounts, its just I don't know what account it is under.

    Unable to add son to xbox one

    As above,

    Select child
    Sign in as parent
    get to the 50c card authorisation, add card details
    Then get card already exists on account - go through screens - again!!

    Then after about 10 minutes updating account it fails with code 45468.7036976521340.5055251569016685

    Go to xbox errorhelp - can't find it How can I find out what parent account (Family) I am signed into? :(

    Can anybody help please we are pulling our hair out on this

    Just to say the card is on account from xbox and also Microsoft accounts linked to the parents account!

    I got removed from family and can't get back in.

    I wanted to not be apart of my family on xbox one anymore, and signed into my parents account to remove me from the family, and now i can't add my account back into the family from my parents account. I removed my account from my xbox and it still won't
    work. I just want to have my account be it's own family and be a parent without being apart of my parents family.

    That means that your account is not the parental account for his account.

    You would need to find out what account is the parental account for your sons account and sign in with that account.

    If you sign in with your sons account at account.microsoft.com/family it will show you what accounts are in his family including any adults.

    The best place to figure out what the parental account for you profile is, is to sign in at account.microsoft.com/family and it will tell you any family members that are attached to your account including the adult ones. And then sign in with that account
    when it asks for a parent account.

    I am also having this same issue. To my knowledge there is no parent account associated with my Live account. I've never seen anything about it before the Fall Update. How do I find out what the parent account is?

    Thanks for your post, if your account is already listed in a family you will have to find the parent account, sign into it, and remove your child account. For steps on how to do this view this article:

    Remove members from your Microsoft family.

    To find the parent account use the
    Contact Us     portal to speak to an agent.

    If I may ask, are you able to access the parent account/Organizer for the Microsoft Family?

    If so, kindly confirm by signing the parent account on account.microsoft.com > then go to family > from there, check if you can remove the child account using your parent account.
