    How can I find out my xbox one s IP address when I can't connect to my computer?


    I try to use my computer to play on my xbox one s but he doesn't seem to find my xbox so how can I find out my IP address of the xbox when I can't see anything from my xbox?

    Xbox App on Windows 10 can't connect to my Xbox.

    I have just bought a Laptop with Windows 10 Home and an Xbox One S. When I go on the Xbox app on my laptop and try to connect my Xbox to stream, my Xbox does not show up. Even when I enter the Xbox's IP address it still say that it can't find it.

    New Xbox wont connect to network unless i powercycle router?

    Update-

    While my main computer was turned on and connected to the internet I started up the Xbox today and powercycled to connect, upon connecting to Xbox Live a "Network Error" appeared on my computer stating "another computer on this network has the same IP address
    as this computer. Contact admins for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows System event log." so i think this might be an ip address issue with the xbox. I still havent got a clue on how to fix though as i have already tried

    Manual Ip Address info used for Xbox settings were

    IP Address: 192.168.001.244

    subnet Mask : 255.255.255.000

    Gateway 192.168.001.254

    I also tried connecting by typing in my xbox one's IP address, which for some reason when I typed it in said that it couldn't find a console with the IP address provided even though I quadruple checked the IP address that I got from my settings on my xbox
