how can I find my Xbox's Mac address?

Its ok I've found it, this is the screen I mean:-

Get your Xbox mac address:-

And enter the mac address into that field and choose an address of 192.168.1.100

Check on add

Set your Xbox ip address to auto and then see how that goes

There is also the option of MAC spoofing.

You can take the wireless MAC address from your surface and basically make your Xbox present itself to their network as if it was the surface and as the surface be registered for access. You cannot use both at the same time but it can work.

This is a router setting not an Xbox setting. Your model of router should be able to do this.

Access the router menu

Choose Setup/Basic-Setup

Click Static DHCP and enter the mac address of the Xbox, the name you want to give it and the ip address you want to give it

@awdrive You may not be able to connect to the wifi but you can still click on it. When you click on it is going to run the test anyways. Theres no way your school can stop you from testing the connection. once your in the connection screen you can do my
steps above to find the mac address.

To further atest to this the MAC address is a physical Address and not only available when you connect to the internet so even if the connection fails you can still go into the configure network options and find the mac address there... I'm serious do it.

Just click on a wireless network that shows up enter a fake password and once it goes to test the connection it will fail. Press b. and then go thorugh the configure network steps above. If no wireless networks are found then use the advanced to connect
to an unlisted network. Create a fake name a fake password and test. Again you will get the fail screen and can still go through the steps....
