How can I either get my game back or get refunded?

Check the transaction for it at http://account.microsoft.com If you paid with a credit card/Paypal, you're not charged until within 10 days of the games release, so if it was cancelled, you wouldn't have been charged for it. To get the game back, you'd just have to buy it again.

For information on why it was cancelled, you'd need to speak to billing. You can request a call back or chat with support at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us If you're not seeing those options, change the category/topic until you do.

To request a refund you must meet several requirements which are not having played a significant amount of time, that is, not having played the game for a long time and request a refund before 14 days have passed since the purchase. You can do it through the link that I will leave you below and if the refund is rejected, respond to the email you received informing you of the rejection of the refund. In your response, explain in detail the reasons why you should reconsider your decision and why you think you should accept it. This is the only way to appeal the denial and get back in touch with the team that originally handled your refund request.

If you have not received an email informing you of your refund rejection after 24 hours, even after checking your spam/junk folder, I recommend you request a refund again using this alternative link:

If your refund is denied again this time, you should receive an email informing you of the rejection as this is the only way they communicate this information when a refund is requested through that link. When you receive the email, reply to it as I mentioned before.

If it says canceled from your account's order history, it means that the system was not able to collect any payment from the pre-order. The system will only try to charge your payment method ten days before the release date of the content or game. You will have to purchase the content again in order to access it.
