i want to give my xbox360 to my friend but i uncomfortable let my account and some other information. so i want to factory reset but i don't know how can do it.

There's any option to factory reset in xbox setting menu. How can i do it?

my xbox serial number is 212859104305

You could also try setting a static IP address so that your router isn't automatically setting the IP address for the Xbox.

Unfortunately I couldn't find an official support page for how to do this, but if you look here there is a very good step by step on how to do it:

You can always reset the network settings back to factory again should this not help.

Yes, you should be able to re-download any games that you have purchased after doing a factory reset on your Xbox. When you sign in to your Xbox account after the reset, you should see all of your purchased games available for download in the "Ready to install" section of the "My games and apps" menu.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

You're performing the steps correctly but there seems to be an issue with the console itself. If I may ask, do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, kindly unplug them because a corrupted hard drive may cause issues.

Also, make sure that your console is plugged directly into a wall socket.

After all that try resetting it again via the Xbox Troubleshooter page.

1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

4. Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".
