How can I contact support? - Faulty Xbox controller

I'm trying to submit a service and repair ticket via the product page, as I'm having issues with my new xbox controller still under warranty.

However, every time I get to the end where it says select a shipping method, I keep getting the following error message with a picture of a melted ice lolly.

TraceID: /xrse6O+fkyv8p8W.164

Something happened. Wait a bit, then try again. If the issue still persists contact us.

I've tried using multiple different browsers and devices and even read previous support articles saying to use private window on edge browser, but nothing works.

What makes this even more infuriating is that I cannot seem to talk to an actual human. I've tried loads of possible combinations on the contact us button but keep being referred back to an automated agent or help articles with the following message:

Phone calls and chats aren't available for this issue.

I don't live in the states and can't seem to find any phone numbers or support email addresses.

Why has microsoft made it so hard to speak to an actual human? It's an absolute joke of a customer support system to be honest.

I want my faulty controller replaced and I'm sick of spending so much time trying to figure out how to contact someone to resolve this issue. Any ideas?

Try to make contact via chat, and choose another type of subject from the list so that an agent can assist you.

I appreciate your reply but it’s not helpful. Like I said in my post, I’ve tried to do that and I keep getting an automated agent or help articles.

That is odd then. I do apologize but that is the only way to contact a support agent. Perhaps try using a different support path when you try to request help. Instead of using repair try billing or something else as there's been no notification that there's a problem with the service.
